[GLLUG] Ubuntu question

Just check on an extra machine that one of the CD's work. Check that the
bios for your machine has it booting off of CD (turn off all other options,
turn "boot from other" to disabled). If it doesn't get into Bios, that's
problem #1, and if it doesn't boot into the splash, the cdrom in the dell is
probably trashed.
