[GLLUG] Accessing Data on an IOMega HDD040 desktop HD

Hi, everyone, 
Thanks for all the advice. 
Finally took the case apart and pulled out a perfectly functional Seagate 40Gb ATA drive that had absolutely nothing on it. Apparently nothing had ever been written to it. 
There does seem to be something wrong with the USB bridge in the case, however, since the device was invisible. 
I'm going to keep the HD. 
If anyone is interested in the case, power supply, data cable, et al. I'll have those bits at the BBQ on Thursday.
