I'm in Clay's "camp". I've been to CADL (once) and 'Gone Wired' (several 
times, but apparently before the annoying band). I went to the meeting last 
night at 'Coffee and Friends' in Okemos and was very happy with that as a 
meeting location. I spoke to the daughter of the owners (who was working the 
counter that night) and she was very pleasant and helpful and didn't mind at 
all even when some of us were still not gone after closing time (9pm, BTW).

I'd add another bonus to Clay's list for the Okemos location -- plenty of 
parking. I recall  that being somewhat of an issue at 'Gone Wired' (and CADL).

I won't be able to attend too many meetings given my distance, but of the 
places I've been so far, I like 'Coffee and Friends' the best by a pretty wide 
margin, FWIW.
