No.  Giving up electronics does nothing about all the things spying
on you right now, which I think is a larger issue.

And, its entirely possible to have secure things like smart phones,
once open source projects start digging into the core of something
like Android, to really see whats going on.  The Open Moko phone
might have been a good start..
