[GLLUG] Under Watch: A Day in the New Surveillance Society

Android itself IS open source.  Just the crap carriers put on there and
some google tools are not.  Take a look at cyanogenmod, for example.  It's
heavily modified for things like better user control and built from
sources.  Ice cream sandwich is even available for some phones.
