not a bad analogy Steve, but following that line of thought you can say Tesla is turning the car world into a crapshoot for making an electric car, so on so forth.. Do you remember when you had the ability to add RAM to your video card? I do, I had a Trident that came with 256K and I took it all the away to a full MB.. :) Do you think that ATI/NVIDIA is screwing things by soldering GDDRAM in the cards today?

The thrush is most people will NEVER need more RAM, we geeks do, so we buy the ones that we can update.. Again, there is room for everyone.
