If you're looking into proprietary software like that, the vendor's support
resources would probably be the best places to look.

There is a ton of documentation on the open source solutions, though (focus
on KVM and Xen for an equivalent level of virtualization).  You'll find
when larger businesses scale out, VMWare is a massive cost sync.  RedHat
for example supports KVM as it's official offering.
