a Newbie question ? about Apache

What are your directory permissions on your web root directory, 
and what user is apache running as?  Are you sure that the 
httpd.conf file has the appropriate web root directory set?
Does it give the same error if you do a http://(your-IP-address)?

You should usually be logged in as root when doing the RPM command 
on any RedHat-ish system.  There is no "administrator" user unless
you created one.

Unfortunately, I tried this and it didn't do anything.

Should I be logged on as root ?

or someone else "nobody", "administrator"

Could this be a permissions thing ?
