I did a quick check and on Debian stable after installation
apt-get install *
where * = the following...
libpvm3 - Parallel Virtual Machine - shared libraries
pvm-dev - Parallel Virtual Machine - development files
pvm - Parallel Virtual Machine - binaries and shared libraries
Debian Rocks!
