It is typically caused by cross-talk where the signals jump acrossed the
wires. It is typically caused by two things. A cable that wasnt made to
run at that high of resolution. OR you have outside interference this
includes the cable itself ie it is wound up in a ball. to too close to the
monitor or wrapped acrossed the processor, scsi cables, fans, etc.
Bad connections can cause this also.
The fix is usually buy a new cable or provide shielding for it.
The bad connections can be fixed with electrical contact cleaner but be
careful with that stuff.
