[GLLUG] Error restarting mysql or while emerging

Thanks for the quick reply.

I /etc/init.d/domainname and it still there as a script.

I had added commandoselite.com to "/etc/config.d/domainname". I cleared that
out and now when I do "/etc/init.d/mysql restart" it just sits saying

"* Coaching service dependencies..."

been that way now for close to 5 min.

Thanks,

Seth

I took a quick look through depcache, and my guess is that you put your
domainname in /etc/init.d/domainname instead of /etc/domainname,
overwriting an important init script. This comes from baselayout, so if
you still have the distfile (rc-scripts) on your system, you can extract
it from there.
