[GLLUG] Help configuring network / Revitalizing old equipment

Thanks for your assessments.  Sounds like this laptop needs more
coaching.

I didn't know there's such thing as Xubuntu.  Glad to know there's
another choice available out there.
I'll download and bring it with me today.
