[GLLUG] Penguicon draws nearer....

I was one of the people who got the shaft on the rollover membership.  I
have no idea who handled it, it was a year ago in the general confusion
of turning in credit for volunteer time.  And I see any of these people
except at Penguicon.  There is no way we can track down the person who
dropped the ball, and with Penguicon less than two weeks away I don't
see any real point to it.

My advice for this year is to take the cash, don't have any faith that
the person at the counter knows what they are doing or that they will
follow through on a promise to enroll you for next year.  Probably not
through any ill intent on their part, but because it's a chaotic time
and stuff gets misplaced.  Better to be responsible for your own
enrollment, the one person you actually have control over.
