[GLLUG] How to remove all files from a source code installed package

On second thought, rather than do it right in the future, you could use 
checkinstall (or some other method) to build a package for what you have 
already installed, install that newly-created package, and then use your 
package manager to uninstall the package.  That should clean your system up.
