Well, Ariel (and others), if we could find a place similar to Coffee &
Friends in another location, what would be a better location? I think
that's one thing Stan is trying to find out from us.
For example, how was Ted-Dee's Sandwich Shoppe? I doubt they would stay
open for us any longer, but other than that, how was the location,
wireless access, and food? I thought all three were good. The new
Delta Township Library has some good qualities, but they close at 8:00
p.m. and I don't know if we have anyone who lives there who could
reserve a meeting room for us. It's also by the Lansing Mall, so it's
not close to those who live east of Lansing. There is probably
someplace similar to Ted-Dee's, and Coffee & Friends, that is in a
better location, however you define better, and where you live in
relation to it. Coffee & Friends may be the best we can find.
Oh, and for the record, the library would have and did allow us to bring
in light refreshments, although the paperwork didn't define "light". I
would think pop and cookies would work. We were given permission to
bring in pizza on at least one Saturday for the Linux installation classes.
