At least we can all get a laugh out of that image.

Maybe it's locking the barn door after the horse has escaped, but I (maybe 
overly optimisitically) envision a webcam or two attached to a junky old (or 
well hidden) desktop running some motion-detection software and catching 
someone in the act. For anyone interested in such a setup, I've had good luck 
with this software ('motion') and various video sources (webcam, CCTV camera):
