[GLLUG] Additional Serial & Parallel Ports

I wanted the same thing a few years back. I found a couple of different
kinds of USB to 9 pin serial converters in the discount bins at stores
like Office Maxx for around $10 each. I had to get a couple of different
kinds (Belkin and Keyspan). They both work out of the box on Linux and
they both behave just like any serial port that I have used.

I don't know about parallel ports though.
