[GLLUG] Meeting Suggestion

Though it’s a bit on the basic side, I’d be willing to run through keeping an old machine useful by wiping it and turning it into a BOINC/Seti at home box.

An exception to this would be if you want to demonstrate a particular skill that others might find useful, such as a demo we had many years ago about how to create realistic-looking flames with GIMP. Another example would be how to configure a simple firewall for a desktop PC using a firewall configuration tool, a specially-designed distro, or iptables rules by themselves.  I think topics of interest to wide range of users would be better, too, but feel free to disregard my opinion.
